I create engaging, concise, and convincing content for grant and copy writing for small- to mid-size business and nonprofit organizations. Most of this work has so far been via Upwork, but I aim to build relationships and over time develop a pool of clients I work with directly. I’d also like to publish articles for consumer magazines and short fiction for literary magazines. Throughout all of this work, I aim to keep learning new skillsĀ to challenge myself and bring in new clients with unique and interesting projects.

My ultimate goals are to:

  • Work with interesting people who value my skills;
  • Learn and grow with each new project;
  • Build and maintain an online presence.

Freelance writing is a bit of a free-for-all, with a lot of work earned through relationship-building. To compete, I maintain excellent customer service skills and produce high-quality work on a timeline. Additionally, I enjoy the challenge of new or difficult projects, so I’m excited to jump in while others might hesitate. My experience as a grant writer and creative writer creates an energetic yet professional voice.

I want to work with:

  • Nonprofit organizations who may be too small to have a full-time grant writer;
  • Mid-size nonprofits with a seasonally heavy application/report deadlines;
  • Individuals who are inexperienced (or otherwise struggle) with grant writing;
  • Small businesses who lack the personnel to complete writing projects.

Do you have a project you need help with? Reach out to me through my contact form! I look forward to hearing from you.
